I am running WinWGet Portable as part of my PortableApps setup and I discovered a bug in WinWGet (version 0.20 beta April 2004).

When attempting to use HTTP authentication…

1. the “HTTP Options” tab has a box for –http-passwd, but
2. it actually passes –http-pass when run, however
3. wget actually takes –http-password for an option, so don’t put anything in for –http-passwd on the “HTTP Options” tab, but instead
4. use the “Additional Params” box on the “Logging and input” tab and enter your password as –http-password=”password“.
